       Caliente’s Restaurant specializes in authentic New Mexican Cuisine.      
All of our menu selections are made fresh daily just like in grandma’s kitchen.
At Caliente’s, we take the extra steps
involved in developing the true traditional flavors made from scratch. Our red chile is made from
the finest red chile podsNew Mexico has to offer Cleaned and soaked in its own natural juices,
strained and slow cooked with traditional seasonings to enhance the flavors.
      Our green chile is also made from scratch         
which includes roasting and cooking our own Chile.
At Caliente’s we don’t need any artificial flavors or meat to enhance
the true flavor of the chile which is the pride of New Mexico.
We offer a selection of two sides for every entrée , a New Mexican favorite,
healthy calabacitas made with fresh squash, zucchini, roasted corn, onions,
green chile and melted cheese and papitas for those potato fans.
Growing up we always had a pot of beans,
fried potatoes, chile and fresh homemade tortillas on the stove.
Caliente’s offers whole beans slow cooked with Serrano peppers to add a
nice flavor to our hardy home style beans and we make a wonderful
Spanish rice seasoned perfectly with sautéed onions and bell peppers.
  On Sundays Caliente’s offers a wonderful all you can eat brunch   
featuring a wide variety of New Mexican favorites including:
carne adovada, enchiladas, papitas, calabacitas, beans, rice, red chile, green chile, and bacon.
Caliente’s Chef’s prepare made to order Omelet’s, eggs, and Fajitas in our exhibition
kitchen made exactly how you want them. The Brunch also includes a wonderful Salad Bar,
fresh guacamole, queso fresco, salsa, soups, and homemade desserts including
homemade Flan , Natillas, and sweet rice just to name a few.
  At Caliente’s we offer:
      Homemade chile rellenos, and tamales, not frozen or vender purchased, but made fresh to order.     
         Our signature appetizer is a homemade sweet potato chips, made to order and sprinkled with a     
     spicy red New Mexican chile, which gives it the perfect balance of sweetness and a dash of heat.
